You can begin registration today. School health and immunization records can be submitted before the first day of school. Support is available in multiple languages.
First day of school is August 24, 2026 for all ACPS schools, except Samuel W. Tucker, which starts July 27, 2026!
Before You Begin

Check to see if your child meets the age requirements.
They must be five years old on or before September 30.

Use the Attendance Zone Locator to find your zoned school.
The Attendance Zone Locator provides the zoned neighborhood school for the 2026-27 school year (beginning July 27, 2026 for Samuel W. Tucker Elementary School and August 24, 2026 for all other schools).
All students must complete registration at their zoned school, based on their home address.
*PLEASE NOTE: Our Online Student Registration portal currently shows the 2025-26 neighborhood school assignment. Our teams are aware of this issue and are actively working to get this resolved as soon as possible to align with the new and correct 2026-27 school boundaries. Please use our Attendance Zone Locator to verify your child’s zoned school, based on your residential address.
